All of the kids loved wearing their new church clothes! They are all such cheeseballs. We had a great Easter morning and the Easter Bunny definitely spoiled them. I should say that I searched online for the perfect Easter dress for Ashlynn and when it was all said and done, I couldn't decide on just one so I bought three! All in different sizes, of course! Anyway, during sacrament the lady we were sitting next to gave Ashlynn a Permanent Sharpie marker to draw with and yes before I noticed she had got it on her Easter dress! I was so upset and I couldn't help it and I started crying. Who would give a two year old a permanent marker to draw with? I don't even let Austin use them, let alone Ashlynn! Needless to say, when I got home I got online and ordered a new one. It literally ruined my day.
That night the missionaries came over for dinner and we had just found out that Elder Banks was being transferred to the Tri-Cities and we were all sad. My kids love the missionaries. Elder Banks' mom is a professional chef and he gave me one of her cookbooks. He wanted me to cook him something out of his mom's cookbook so I cooked them Chicken Fettucini Alfredo with garlic bread and a caesar salad and his mom's famous Strawberry Shortcake. It was quite a hit! We had fun and will miss Elder Banks. He is coming back in August, after he gets home, with his whole family and we are looking forward to seeing him them!

The marker aspect is crazy! That person must not have kids. And it would have definately ruined my day! Send us a close up of the dress so I can see it better will ya?
I've heard about this Elder Banks from Tammy's blog and I had no idea his mother was a chef. I love to cook and commend you for attempting fettucini alfredo. I would think that would be the hardest recipe to get right!
Miss ya and talk to you soon. And I'm glad you FINALLY posted new blogs of the kids.
I'm glad I finally got to see the dress! I never did end up seeing it on Sunday. I'm sorry you had to buy another one! It's way cute!
