So we went to the orthopedic surgeon last Wednesday and took some more X-rays. Luckily the break is a vertical break in her left tibia and it did not reach her growth plate so she doesn't have to have surgery. Whew! The bad thing is she has to have her cast on for at least a month, possibly longer depending on how long it takes to heal. SO, that means that I am going to have a newborn and a little one in a cast. I am not looking forward to it! She goes back to the surgeon on May 7th for new X-rays, so I will let you know how that goes!

I love the pink cast-I wish they would have had those when I was a little girl. Life is just full of flips and flops
That is the color I would pick. Well, as crummy as it is to be in a cast Ashlyn still looks like she is a happy fireball as usual.
